I repeat my kudos to the game, but a lot of discussion speculates on which rules simplifications were only for the purposes of fitting a game into the Jumpstart Kit, and which are deliberate simplifications compared to the old CP of 30 years ago which will be retained in the full big core rulebook.
We have no way to tell. Are there any statements that you can make to the RPG fans about what rules stay simplified in the core rulebook? It will help us move properly if we want to create adventures using the condensed Jumpstart rules that will still work after the core rulebook release.
C February 17, pm UTC. What you see in the Jumpstart Kit are building blocks. We're going out from there but the core will stay more or less the same. I understand that the combat system was simplified a bit from the old version. Is that staying the same or maybe a more complex optional rule? Pretty excited to try this out, my DM just sent out the pregens for the gang to pick over. Shame there doesn't seem to be a set releasedate for the full thing yet, the peak at the rulebook does make hunger for more.

Finally got my hands on the physical edition, but can't post a review because I haven't got the digital one.
